Sourcing, OEM and quality insurance

During our quality controls, we prefer favoring intelligence to strict procedure, often too heavy to be correctly carried out for the allowed delay. We acquire so the best report effectiveness-length.

Prices in China are very often attractive, and sourcing in this country can be very profitable.

Obtaining products adapted to the Western market is possible, but one must know how to select and qualify his vendors, and particularly be aware that quality can never be considered as an established fact. The important and regular turn over of the staff is indeed a real obstacle to a sustainable know how acquisition, despite the adoption of ISO standards by most companies.

It is also important to have a clear idea of working conditions at the chosen vendor's, at least to preserve one's company image towards his own customers.

A local operation is actually the best solution to keep control on these problems .

 

  

 

 

Customized vendor evaluation :

Selecting a vendor does not only consist in making sure he will be able to produce what you are looking for and this must be done carefully.You have to find one who will care for you seriously, and take into account your specificity.

It is often better to find a smaller company with a size adapted to yours, rather than to deal with an industry giant even if apparently more reliable. If your business volume is important enough to him, the vendor will try to please you, match your demands and keep your confidence. On the other hand, if your volume is considered negligible by your vendor, he will ignore all of your requirements and impose all of his choices to you.

Our proximity with them allows us to easily evaluate your potential partners capacity and interest for you.

Quality and social audit:

Whichever is the considered company, it is necessary to visit it, and evaluate with one's own eyes its production capacity, its quality insurance process, and its respect of ethics concerning social conditions and environment.

We perform company audits for you, and draw up a documented report, enhancing their strengths, weaknesses, and necessary improvements.

On line inspections:

We are available on the production line while your own product is being manufactured. This allows to check that the manufacturing process is efficient and respected, to discover possible problems at the source, avoiding the multiplication of defects, and the always costly necessity to rework the whole lot. This is particularly recommended for new products.

Pre-shipment inspections:

Before any shipment, we can make an intelligent inspection of your finished products. We use of course the classical random sampling tools (AQL), but we also have developed a statistical analysis tool (based on CPK), allowing to check the homogeneity of your product essential parameters in the lot. This allows a quick evaluation of out of specification pieces rate, and improves the inspections' quality, while keeping a reasonable duration for them.

Regular monitoring of these analysis results allows characterizing the evolution in quality of your vendor.
